Words & Wine
Words & Wine is a monthly program featuring readings of brand new 10-15 minute plays. It’s a great event for hearing new work, meeting new artists, and enjoying good theatre – all over a glass of wine.
The event takes place on the last Sunday of every month at 3:00pm at Joria Mainstage Theatre, 260 West 36th Street 3rd Floor.

Interested in being a part of one of the readings? Actors for each month’s Words & Wine reading are chosen from actors in attendance the previous month. So come to Joria Studios on April 25th with your headshot and resumé!
We ask for a $5 donation to cover the cost of the space, scripts, the wine, and future productions. We are extremely thankful for the generous donations we have received at past events. They have made this series possible!
If you are a playwright, feel free to bring a script.
If you are a director, bring business cards and mingle!
